In 2025, KDM Helping Hands introduced a new way to give back with the School Partnership Program, working with a nominated school for a full year of support to their students and families, season after season. Our committee selects a school and commits to helping in meaningful ways throughout the year, from supplying school essentials in September to Thanksgiving baskets and Halloween treats in October, winter gear in November, our Christmas for Kids event in December, a book fair in February, Easter hampers in March and April, and a celebration to close out the school year in June. It is a year long commitment built on consistency, so students know they have a community behind them at every stage.
